Research endeavors at The University of Akron are supported by the Office of Research Administration (ORA), the Office of Technology Transfer (OTT), and the University of Akron Research Foundation (UARF). ORA helps with research grants and funding, OTT supports patenting and licensing activities, while UARF assists with start-ups, entrepreneurship and new venture development. All work together to promote collaboration among faculty and the business community.
